IMPULSE GUN AND PORTABLE ATTACHED SUPPLY UNITSThe IFEX Impulse Gun is designed as a highly versatile tool for fire brigades and rescue teams everywhere in the world. With only small amounts of water, these smart fire fighting tools have the capacity of extinguishing even large fires.
The high speed of the impulse "shot" (over 400 km/h) and the large cooling surface greatly increase the power and efficiency of the water discharged from IFEX guns. Addition of only a small quantity of foaming agents allow for highly effective fighting of flammable liquid fires. Using only fresh water, fires in live high voltage electrical equipment can be extinguished without danger to firefighters.
As a hand-carried fire extinguishing tool, the IFEX 1-Liter Impulse Gun, used in combination with one of the portable units, is a perfect system for fast and safe initial attack and quick fire knockdown.
